The Tate brothers, facing human-trafficking and rape charges in Romania, flew to Florida in February 2025 days after reporting that the administration pressed Romania to lift their travel ban, with envoy Richard Grenell raising their case. It split the right: Ben Shapiro said “America does not need more self-proclaimed pimps,” and Gov. Ron DeSantis said the brothers were not welcome in Florida.
